This Community Guidelines is created to foster and protect the Gigworks community. By using Gigworks, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Service. We are committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Violation of guidelines may result in deleted service listings, disabled accounts, or other restrictions
Remember, you are responsible for your personal brand and credibility. Always list the services which you are qualified to provide, so as to prevent clients from being misled. Do not list any services which you are unable to perform.
We understand that you would like to post impressive works on your Gigworks profile to garner the attention and trust of potential clients. However, please do not post anything which you may or may not have copied from others or retrieved from the internet. Not only is this a violation of intellectual property rights, but you are also being dishonest in your personal branding.
The Gigworks chat is a tool to keep track of all communications between the seller and their clients. A chat conversation is first created when a client enquires about your service. In the unlikely event that there are any confusions or disputes with your client which you require a Gigworks Administrator to look into, the Gigworks chat history will be the only evidence used for resolution.
Gigworks is not a place to support organised crime. Services involving sexual intimacy, firearms, gambling and illegal or prescription drugs are strictly prohibited. Gigworks takes the misuse of our platform for unsolicited services very seriously.
For safety reasons, refrain from posting inappropriate content which is nudity, profanity, racial or political-related, regardless of whether they are artistic or creative in nature. We will remove service listings that contain threats or hate sentiments. Whoever misuses the Gigworks Chat to spam, target, shame or blackmail others will be reported to the relevant authorities. Honour the services you provide and accept the ratings and reviews given by your clients. Help us by not threatening your clients to provide false reviews which may misguide others.
Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety are also disallowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm during the course of service provision.
Every one of us plays an important role in the Gigworks community. Should you see anything that you think may have violated our community guidelines, please make a report through our in-app reporting function. For violations related to orders, please file an issue to our support team via the Resolution Centre. We have a team of administrators who are dedicated to reviewing these reports and removing service listings or profiles which have violated our regulations.
Should you find that any of your content or materials are being used without your permission on our platform, kindly request for the person to remove it. If they refuse to cooperate, you may file an official copyright or trademark report with the authorities. We will cooperate with law enforcement authorities when appropriate and necessary.
